Sea side Cushions

Im back, after a short break from blogging, working at my new store in Palm Beach, on the Gold Coast, takes more time than I have, but im back with lots of gorgeous piccies of goddies in the store and for sale on my website.

A shore thing, cushion covers with Seagulls, Flip Flops, Beachy Scene and Beach Umbrellas, this fabric is soo gorgeous, I had to share with you.

These look fab on my Warwick covered deckchair, but no room to sit of course.

Spring and summer will soon be here, long hot days of sunshine and swimming, sooooo looking forward to this, it seems that it has been a long winter this year here on the Gold Coast, but hey it will all be a distant memory in a few weeks time.

Nipper sign on is also on the horizon, last season for Olly, he has been with them since joining as a Turtle all those years ago.  On to be a life saving cadet after this season.

Its good to be back in the blogosphere, hopefully with regular updates and piccies, giveaways and offers.

Lamp Time

Fab Marimekko citrus mini unikko lamp, against the back drop of Amy Butlers fab Temple Tulips wallpaper, I love it, My hubby is not too sure.

I have this display in my store at the moment, and it does look pretty good, clashy yes, edgey yes, just need some gorg seating to go with it.

Let me know your thoughts,

• No its too busy
• It looks good, but I couldnt live with it
• Yes I could live with it

I like things to be different and non matching whereas my hubby likes to have all things that match, umm we get a bit of a muddle I can tell you.

Inside Our Store

Well, ive finally found the time to sit and write, its been a crazy couple of months since December, decorating the store, keeping the kids organised, surfing, school, but now able to sit back and do some planning for the months ahead.

I m now stocking some of the most gorgeous fabrics to be found in Australia, and welcomed Bird Textiles to our store in January.

Being here in Palm Beach on the Gold Coast just a stones throw from the beach itself, is absolutely fab, and with some gorgeous shops surrounding me from coffee to beachy furniture, im in my element.

We have the keys to our Palm Beach Ave Store

DAY 1

Woohoo, we have the keys, we are in and decorating,

An exciting new chapter has opened in the I Just Love That Fabric story.  We have taken the plunge to open a gorgeous retail store in Palm Beach Avenue, Palm Beach.

Opening hopefully over the christmas hols, we will be selling all our gorgeous fabrics and homewares.

It is divine and suits this old chair, I would never have thought myself of putting these together, but they really do work.

A Taste of Waikiki

Woo-hoo! my outdoor furniture covers have finally arrived, I had one chair ready and now all the rest has been finished, so would love to share with you.

Not children on the seats, well at least until mum and dad have spent time enjoying a stain free, clutter free deck area.

Old Rosalie Tea Towel

A Vintage/Beach/Chic style is what I have running constantly through my head at the moment, after purchasing my lovely new tressle dining table last week, Im looking to match some furnishings and some worn out looking fabrics,  So whilst I had a spare minute over the weekend I cleared out the kitchen draws, delving in and pulling out all the old spoons and serving cutlery that I was probably looking for all last summer at various bbqs and entertaining events,  And there neatly folded away in the corner was my old favourite teatowel, just the thing to get me into my vintagey style mood. 

This Beautiful Rosalie fabric from the UK, the first teatowel I had ever made, and thinking about it, probably the only one I ever made, now almost 8 years old. 

I popped it into the washer and gave it a nice dry on the line, and hey look, a gorgeous vintage teatowel, shabby chic by all accounts, faded but still looking remarkably chic!!

My old favourite

I dont usually have pink around the house these days, I left the shabby chic movement in the UK, but as some of you will know, it is one of my fav colours, and im going to incorporate into my beachy style dining room.  I  will now just leave this lying somewhere looking good with its faded roses and worn out print.  Maybe on the shelf with some old vintage teacups and saucers I collected years ago.  Ummm now off for some more rummaging in the cubboards, Im on a roll.

Great for when the kids pop out of the pool for a drink and a nibble, nice and cumfy.
