A Christmas Tablecloth Decision

I love both of these tablecloths, and making the decision for a customer as to which one to have is difficult, it has been left in my hands.
Myself, I love the Amy Butler Paradise Garden, as this would fit into my home quite well, the red/white mexican oilcloth is more traditional and would look good at Christmas, with the stuffed Turkey in the centre and wouldnt cost as much either.

But having said that, I laid this oilcloth widthways across my table, almost like a wide runner and that worked well, with my table top being black glass. And my table is only 90cms wide so 1.25 metres would be enough, this could be done with the Mexican Oilcloth too.

Im full of money saving ideas today, must be the heat!!.

Ive been waiting at the front door, for my new Rose Pink Paisley fabric to arrive, and hooray it arrived today.

Rose Pink on a pure white background home decorating fabric.

I know its pink again, but it just looks so good, the large paisleys are 20cms long, and hand blocked in India.

Im thinking Cushions and Wall Art in my bedroom with this or maybe even  a bed cover.

Marimekko Wall Art - Sunny Sunday

This is what sundays are made of - nippers first thing in the morning, a gynastics gala in the afternoon, and then the movies, what more can you do in a day i ask myself.

Well, our renovations have just started so im taking all my canvases off the wall and putting them away, so the dust doesnt get them.   Although if the electricians work is anything to go by, I think I might go into storage aswell......

My lovely Marimekko canvas in sunshine orange and yellow is going into storage upstairs, it will be so nice to get it back out in the new year and I will run up some bright new cushions in Mini Marimekko to match.

Heres to a good week of work, cleaning and sewing loads of cushions
