Santa, waved goodnight for the last time at the weekend, until Dec 1st 2010. We always find it sad taking hime down, its as if he is really alive. Hes back in his box, recharging ready for another Christmas.
So on with this fabulous new year, wow 2010, should we all be flying around in small spaceships instead of cars, thats what i imagined when i was very young back in the ummmm early 70s, when 2010 was ever mentioned - films like Logans Run and The Time machine, but here we are all doing basically the same as the last century. Except maybe the ipones and ipod touches, what great gizzmos they are, cant put them down and such time wasters too!!
Anyway on with the fabric issues, i have some fantastic new fabrics in store,
Degas and
Moulin, drapery, home furnishing, light upholstry weight, absolutely divine, Im having my dressmakers dummy - sally ann, recovered in the pink colourway. All from Warwick Australia and loving the designs and colourways. These designs are fromt he Bohemia Collection, very stylish.
Degas is a poppy design on a soft linen coloured background, the largest pooppy measuring 13cm
The Co-ordinating stripe is gorgeous too Moulin, the stripes are nice and wide at 33.5cm
Heres wishing you all a great January, and relaxing time with the Kiddies still off school, Im off to do some sewing today, as the family have gone off surfing for a couple of hours, and I need to sew something, maybe make some new cushion covers who knows.
