Lamp Time

Fab Marimekko citrus mini unikko lamp, against the back drop of Amy Butlers fab Temple Tulips wallpaper, I love it, My hubby is not too sure.

I have this display in my store at the moment, and it does look pretty good, clashy yes, edgey yes, just need some gorg seating to go with it.

Let me know your thoughts,

• Yes I love this combination
• No its too busy
• It looks good, but I couldnt live with it
• Yes I could live with it

I like things to be different and non matching whereas my hubby likes to have all things that match, umm we get a bit of a muddle I can tell you.

Velveteen clasp Purses

Take a look at this  gorgeous velveteen Loulouthi purse and Mikko Linen purse, now availalbe in our on line store and also in our New Gold Coast Store, Palm Beach.

Beautifully Handmade locally, I am  so pleased to be able to sell them in my stores.

The purses are a generous 15cms wide by 10cms deep, so large enough for that important lippy and some cash on a night out or to give as a special pressy to a special mum or daughter, friend or colleague.

Wow a local Byron Bay  Surf Board manufacturer MacTavish popped into our store a few months back and purchased some gorgeous Valorie Wells Wrenly fabric to decorate a surfboard ..... well here is the finished item.  Looks really good.  Id love one of these, if only I could could surf....

Inside Our Store

Well, ive finally found the time to sit and write, its been a crazy couple of months since December, decorating the store, keeping the kids organised, surfing, school, but now able to sit back and do some planning for the months ahead.

I m now stocking some of the most gorgeous fabrics to be found in Australia, and welcomed Bird Textiles to our store in January.

Being here in Palm Beach on the Gold Coast just a stones throw from the beach itself, is absolutely fab, and with some gorgeous shops surrounding me from coffee to beachy furniture, im in my element.

We have the keys to our Palm Beach Ave Store

DAY 1

Woohoo, we have the keys, we are in and decorating,

An exciting new chapter has opened in the I Just Love That Fabric story.  We have taken the plunge to open a gorgeous retail store in Palm Beach Avenue, Palm Beach.

Opening hopefully over the christmas hols, we will be selling all our gorgeous fabrics and homewares.

Here are some pics of our first day, my helpers, or non helpers, they had more fun playing with the ladder than anything else.

Delightful Owl Cushions

A very talented customer of mine has made this with owl remnants.

It is divine and suits this old chair, I would never have thought myself of putting these together, but they really do work.

This is a gorgeous medium weight fabric, ideal for furnishings and covers, sews a treat and looks good too.  These are 40cm x 40cm in size and have the same fabric on the reverse and a tuck closure, so easy to remove and wash.
