Something to be said about Gingham

Gingham once again has become so popular, a reminder maybe of Grandmas kitchen pantry shelves covered in sticky back plastic gingham paper, or her pretty cotton apron.

Ive always been a lover of gingham, for tablecloths and teatowels, mixed with dots and stripes.

Birthday parties are a great favourite, and gingham always looks fresh, and can be in any setting, retro, shabby chic or traditional, whatever the mood.

So without having to sew a thing, you can just throw it over the table and hey, a new look.  Cut the edges in a scallop all the way round and you have a gorgeous new tablecloth.

I cant decide on which of these Forest Elementals fabrics i like best.

The bags are so Autumn and the colours make me feel so cosy, that i want to snuggle up in front of the fire with this gorgeous quilt over my feet.

But its the bags that have inspired me, I LOVE bags, I have an obsession with handbags and paper bags.

Im sure I would be the envy of all my pals with one of these bags, Id definily go with the Elk Landscape............

Its not Pink.........its Black Board fabric

(Non screeeeeeching Black Board Fabric!! )

I know, i usually have the pinks,  oranges,  greens, blues but for today Black is the new pink.

Chalk Board/Black Board Cloth, what a brilliant idea, its the same as a black board, you can use it the same way,  but it can be rolled up and put away.
It can be found in the Oilcloth section in my store

Use it as a tablecloth at a kids party with their names on for seating, or doodle parties.  The uses and fun are endless. Or use as a portable blackboard for travelling.
The only thing that is different from the real chalk board/ blackboard is you cant make the chalk  ....screeeeeeech.  Do you remember at school that sound of sharp chalk scraping down the black board.  ooh i can hear it now.  Thats it.

Chalk/Board Black/Board Cloth Fabric, like an oilcloth but a matt finish
This is available from as little as $8.15 for a piece 60cm x 50cm

Enjoy the mess and NOT the screech
